To support their company grows and development, the TATRA TRUCKS a.s. company, the owner of the TATRA trademark, decided to innovate their enterprise information system by upgrading to Infor ERP LN 6 on January 2017, with GEMMA Systems as a supplier of the solution. The beginning of the cooperation between GEMMA Systems and TATRA dates back to 1998.
Significant increase in production and application of new methods of management of business processes require radical information system upgrade, mainly in production planning and scheduling, online warehousing control an hours accounting. The new information system, Infor ERP LN 6, is a system built on the reliable Baan IV ERP system used by and familiar to TATRA. The new solution, however, radically enhances users´ comfort, and speeds up and improves transfers of data important for company management. This information system upgrade not only is the biggest recent capital investment of TATRA TRUCKS in the IT, but mainly it is a significant step on their way to become an advanced and progressive company.
The scheduled go-live date for the new information system is January 1, 2017.
